Door does not stay closed

I understand the door ajar light keeps flashing even though the door is closed on your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU17K1CW. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. It is one of two things, a defective door switch, or the keypad control board has failed.

my dvd on my combi is not loading it just says loading when you press the close button please advise thanks

It may be as simple as a failed door switch. It would appear one of the switches has failed "open" keeping the light on and not allowing the locks to lock. Check each switch to see if you can find an issue with one, perhaps the plastic plunger broke and when the door closes it will not open the switch.

try to leave it open and hold it open and turn the consel off. tehn turn the consel back on and see if it stays closed. or there mite be something inside the game drive thats not alowing it to close fully be sure the cd drive its clean of all debry

take the faceplate off then open and close it,
also make sure there is nothing blocking the door and there are no other discs in the tray.

Adjust the feet to raise the front of the frige, which should be higher than the back. Therefore the weight of the door will keep it shut or at least cause it to shut itself if it pops open.

the belt is broken for the carocel (the disc can not change) it is plobabely stuck b/tween discs therefore it keeps opening and closing saying error . eventually it turns off. can be fixed with a small elastic goody hair tie w/o metal clasp
