Please help. I'm trying to take the two fan

Please help. I'm trying to take the two fan blades off of the blower motor on a 1992 Honda Accord without destroying them. Anyone have an answer to this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes sir, I have removed the heater blower motor for replacement purposes but I am having trouble removing the two plastic fans from the motor mandrels. Any suggestions?
    I'd appreciate it.

First of all, thanks for all of the help. I ended up taking the whole assembly to a Pep Boys store. They were incredibly nice and helpful. The fan wheels were on the motor mandrels for more than 17 years.
It took quite a lot of work to get both of the wheels off. They used a nail punch and hammer to get the buggers off.
Now I can replace the motor and get back to having heat for the upcoming Chicago winter.
Thanks again for all of your help. Your guys have been great.

There should be a simple retaining clip at the outside of each of those fans(much like the ones that go around small hoses). Take off those clips and slide the plastic fan off the rod. Of course, sometimes such things are not as easy as they sound. If the rod shows rust or grime, you may have to hold the rod with a pair of pliers (in the portion that the fan will not slide over) and turn the plastic fan a few times to break if loose from the rod, then work is slowly off. Some steel wool on the rod before you replace the fan blades might make it easier to put new ones on.
Hope this helps you.

The fan won't turn all the way around on the rod, just back and forth slightly to work it loose.

Heater/defrost fan speed control not working

If the fan speeds dont increase or decrease when using the control switch.it usually is the blower motor resister has failed. If the blower motor isnt working at all, check the fuses, relay and for power at the blower motor

I have a 1992 Honda Accord. When you shut off the car the blower motor stays on and the lights on the heater panel.

Make sure your fan is wired correctly, if the fan is wired correclty which it may but could be crossed and spinning backward and sending power through ground wire causing a power up of the inside light and blower, if the wiring is good then replace the cooling fan relay, that must be shorting and back feeding power to heater control.

My blower for my heat inside my 1992 honda accord stop working.I check the fuses they all good .What"s next for troube shooting.

If you park your car around leafy trees, it's possible your blower sucked in leaves and jammed it, which happened to mine. On the other hand, your blower motor could just be worn out. Either way, you'll have to remove it and check for blockage and check for continuity, meaning make sure the motor is still electrically functional. It is also possible that your fan switch went out, or a broken wire behind the switch. I would check the switch before tearing into the ducting to get to the fan.

The heater fan of my 1992 honda accord stop working what can it be? it doesn't blow any air

It could be the fan fuse, fan relay, a bad control head on/off switch or the blower motor is bad.

How do i remove the fan wheels from my 92 accord heater motor?

Difficult to describe without pics, but…:
Once you’ve removed the glove box (I assume you’ve done this, and maybe you already have the motor out, in which case you can ignore most of this down to the underlining)
If the vehicle is equipped with air conditioning, remove the strap bolt (between the two nuts for the evaporator on the left and the two nuts for the blower housing (the housing is probably white) on the right, just a bit lower than those) then the blower under-cover and the three blower housing retaining nuts (two nuts at the top, already mentioned, and the nut at the bottom, which is roughly between the evaporator on the left and the blower housing cover on the right).
Pull the housing out far enough to unplug the electrical connectors (at the lower right edge, right above the kick panel) and remove the blower assembly housing.
If you’re replacing the blower motor itself, or either of the blower fan wheels, separate the two halves of the housing, remove the motor, remove the retaining clip(s) and remove the fan wheel(s). Easier said than done in may cases. The wheels, from heat and cold over many years, become very set on the blower rod. You'll have to work them off using whatever break-free lube you can find to do it, and a good deal of slight twisting, etc.
Installation is reverse. Then check for proper operation, before you put them back.
Hope this is at least helpful.

Heater fan has stopped working in honda accord 92

The blower motor has died, you will need to replace it and last time I did one they were quite expensive (300 bucks), but the prices may have come down

Heater blower's not working for 1992 honda accord

there is no transistor. since your fan doesn't work at all most likely it is the motor. if it was the Resistor it would only work on high.

Fan problems for 1992 honda accord

well, the blower motor doesn't have a transistor, and if it were something else then it would run on low or high.

the best option is to replace the blower motor.
