My acer laptop keeps saying it cant find my audio devices i hooked my microphone up to my lap top and thats what popped up

Make sure you also install the Audio driver from Acer. If after installing the Audio driver from Acer it still does not work right click on your speaker icon in the System Tray and select Recording Devices. Highlight your microphone device in the list the click Properties. Click on the Levels tab and make sure the microphone is not muted and the volume is turned up.

hello you will need to go to the acer website look for the model and sound and microphone drivers ,also go into control panel click on sound icom and click on microphone to turn it on

if sound is working on laptop but not on skype, then the settings in skype needs to be set to you audio. go in to skype setting and audio and click on your audio and make it default, same for the mic choose the one you have and make it default. and click on save or ok when done.

Is there a question here? There is a port on the back allowing a mic to be plugged in. I'm guessing that's the question, right?

Hi I am Vortash check what audio devices you have in device manager .. under sound and video controllers, select and un-install then re-boot give the unit any software it requires in the installation wizard and check if the microphone is back .
If not back up any documents and data you wish to keep and do a system restore to a point where you know the Mic worked .. hope this helps .. Regards Vortash

What model of your laptop? try to see if your laptop has a High definition audio device.. look for it in the internet and download the driver..
