you only get standard warranty unless you take out extended then its 5 years, they have different warranties standards first year is repair or replace (depending on fault) second year is repair or discount on another item depending on the tc's to that date. so at most its 2 years depending on there warrants to the date of purchase.

I have the same model fridge and the same thing happen to me. I purchased it from Sears June 2011. A Fridge that's 18 moths old SHOULD NOT have these problems. I did some research and there are a lot of people with the same problem and the Kenmore 795 model. I called Sears and they said since the 12 month "warrenty" expired, I'd have to purchase a Protection agreement which is $275.00 and that is good for a year. I think it's complete BS since the postings I've seen on this issue happen every 18 months... leaving you to fork out another $275.00. I will never buy another product from Sears again!
Let me know if the error code keeps coming on and keep a record of the time intervals between the error coming on. There needs to be a recall!!!

Called the recall dept. for Sears. Have an appointment set up for two weeks.Gave them my serial number and model number. The said if the parts show up prior to the two week time frame...call them and we could re-schedule the appointment.

Your warranty should very well be honored and yes, the warranty does start right when you leave the store as long as you have the original receipt, otherwise, they might just honor the production date via serial number. If you have the original receipt, then you need to tell them this and speak to someone higher up, like a manager. It is not your fault Circuit City went out of business.

If you go to Sears.com, then go to parts,then type in the model number, then look to the right and scroll down slow you will see a spot that says get manuals for this model and click on view manuals then any manuals they have you can print them out.

Good you ran diagnostics, F 72 shows at c7 when the basket settles after draining the water out. F 72 is a basket re- engagement failure, does your machine go off balance easy? I need to know is the machine was purchased at Sears and the serial number. If so I will get a special phone number for recalls. I hope it is a Sears machine, we see if the hot line can schedule a tech to service the machine. What the recall line will need after confirmation of a Sears purchase is you name and phone number plus model and serial number of machine. Now they will also need the part numbers to order. When these parts are ordered they will ups them to you which at that point you call back so recall can get a tech out to repair the cabrio.

I too had the misfortune of dealing with the continuous beeping on my washer (model # 110.27062600). No code was given.I called the Sears hotline and asked for the manufacturers warranty department. I then called the recall line at (800)659-7026 and after giving my model number and serial number they discovered is was indeed recalled or being "upgraded"! They have ordered the part and are sending someone out. For those who have already paid to have it repaired I would call Sears and ask for a refund. Good luck!
