I have a ge universal cl5 remote need code for Polaroid HD LCD TV and DVD player combo tdac#02212 22" flat screen

Use code search on your GE URC to find something that works. You may need separate codes for TV and DVD player. If a search through all codes stored in the URC fails, try a different one.

Have audio but no video image on tv.

Some Polaroid LCD TV's have a video mute function on the remote control (so you can play CD's and turn off the screen). If the video mute button does not restore your display, then the backlighting has failed and will need to be replaced. This is not an easy task, even if you can locate the replacement backlighting so you may want to find a local repair shop and get a quote on fixing the problem.

Remote stop working

You should verify if the remote has failed. Contact the support for Vizio, or ask your dealer where you can buy original replacement accessories.

Visio Tech Support:
http://www.vizio.com/support.aspx?id=1586

Most of the time, we've seen the remote fail. Sometimes we are able to service the remote. Sometimes, the IR LED and or the crystal fails in the remotes. If it is more than this, it is impossible to have internal service parts for most remotes. It takes service experience to be able to change these parts.

On rare occasions the IR remote sensor and remote processor area in the set can have a failure. It is best to try another remote to verify this before sending the set for service.

The most common causes of failure of a remote controller is dropping, rough handling, getting food and drink inside, or putting the batteries in backwards.

Polaroid FLM1511 LCD TV

I have the same problem, but I have a remote. I have tried everything and nothing works. When I try to type in the factory set password under parent lock, which is all zeros, it immediately turns the television to channel zero! We didn't set this, it just started happening. The manual for this model LCD 2000, is worthless! I called the company and they too were worthless! The call goes to another company for some reason and they have the same manual that I do. Any help would be appreciated!
