Question about Toshiba Satellite A85-S107 Notebook
Did the restore suggestion and it worked!...then re-booted laptop and back to same problem. Tried an older restore point and it worked, but when re-booterd, back to same problem...any other suggestions?
Freetek suggested booting to Safe Mode and using Restore function; did a restore to earlier than when problem started, and it worked! However, the nesxt day when I started the laptop again, it returned to the Desktop with no icons or taskbar, causing me to have to remove battery to shut down system. Tried a second Restore to a same checkpoint...would not allow me to re-use that previously used checkpoint, so went one week further back. Did not work and all laptop will do is boot top Desktop with no icons or taskbar and I have to remove the battery to turn it off.
