The E24 error code on a Kenmore dishwasher model 630.1390 typically indicates a problem with the drain pump or the drain hose. This can cause the dishwasher to start adding water but then shut off and display the E24 error message.
Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:
Check the drain hose for any clogs or blockages. Make sure the hose is not kinked or bent and that it is properly connected to the garbage disposal or drain.
Inspect the drain pump for any debris or foreign objects. Clean out the pump, if necessary.
Check the air gap on the dishwasher. Make sure it is not clogged or blocked.
Inspect the control board and check for any error messages.
Power off the dishwasher and unplug it for 10 minutes to reset the electronic control board.
Make sure the dishwasher is level and that the legs are adjusted properly.
If the problem persists even after trying these steps, it might be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair.
In one of my canon manuals is says about E.. (see the little dots)
Camera malfunctioned. Turn off the power and turn on again, then re-shoot or play back. If the same message recurs frequentely, the camera may be damaged. Note down the error number [xx] and take the camera to a custumer support help desk. If this message happens immeadiately after you have taken a shot, the camera may not have shot the picture. Switch to play back mode and check whether the image was actually recorded.
Sorry if I can't help you more, but Canon does not give more information.
Canon E24 error means that there is a loose connection inside the camera, or even a broken (cracked) flexible pcb.
Open the camera up and check all pcb connections, especially to the LCD and to the lens assembly. With the camera open, power it up and wiggle each connector in turn to see the effect, but make absolutely sure not to touch any of the flash circuitry as it can give you a shock and a burn (absolutely do not do this at all if you have a pacemaker fitted). You'll need to have a set of jewellers' screwdrivers and an anti-static wrist strap (properly earthed) whilst doing this. If I've lost you already, then it's not a DIY repair.
I cannot be more specific as you spent no time at all to provide exact model details, nor even a proper question, sorry.
You have 2 choices here, one is send the camera into Canon for exchange or replace the Camera, this would be based on cost. You can't fix it as no parts are available from the manufacturer to the public.
I found the answer on another site and was able to fix my camera myself. E24 means your LCD display has come unplugged. What happens if you rotate the screen too much you tighten up the wire and it pulls the connection out of its socket. There ar 4 screws on hedispla, unscrew ad take th back off the screen. Unwind the screen until the wires loosen up. Replug in the loose connector. Resecure the back
Hi:
It turns out that one of the wires connecting the LCD screen with the camera body probably is broken.
It is a simple to remove the LCD cover and reconnect the wire, but it requires manipulating very small objects. The clip that you must re-insert the wire into is scarcely 1mm x 4mm. I recommend a bright light, magnifying glass, tweezers, and a very small phillips screwdriver.
It might also be possible to aquire a replacement cable from Canon. E-mail them...
