My brand new LG 32LH20 Gets Horizontal white lines across the top of the screen. When I turn it off and then back on it goes away, for a while, and then it comes back. Whats up?

bad screen u have to get new screen take it apart from top side pop off top panel 2 screw on back use flat head unscrew screen get new one one ebay ect ok cheak cables in ther also thx nick
To clarify, are the 3 black lines horizontal (left to right across entire width of screen)? or are the 3 black lines vertical (top to bottom across entire height of screen)?
Horizontal lines are almost always the result of a failed panel, and no board replacement will fix the issue.
Vertical lines such as you have described (only 3) are probably also a bad panel. If the black lines were evenly spaced in a repeating pattern, it could be a mainboard or TCONN board.
Has this panel been cracked? or perhaps cleaned recently with too much water or cleaning solvent that has gotten the screen wet?

Yeah we have the same exact problem here. Defective TV....ours would correct itself after 30 mins, but now it's blurry all the time. I'm never dropping 2K on a SONY tv again.
if this line is in the picture, that is possible burn in screen. if you have a black bar at the top or faint white lines that come down from top this is caused by defective filters in vertical circuit or bad vertical output. mch
Check to see that the monitor cable is correctly installed. Also, make sure you have the most up-to-date drivers installed for your graphics adaptor card(both ATI and Nvidia carry catch-all driver programs to keep you up to date.) Tighten the cable screws of course, to make sure the monitor cable isnt just wiggling in its seating.
