Printer feeds blank pages.

When I print out existing documents (.doc, .xls, .txt, etc.) the printer feeds two blank pages, the print job that I requested, and another blank page.

Spooling error

What make and model printer ?
There are a variety of reasons why a printer may feed a blank page through. This is, in some cases, an error. In other cases though it is a mistake in the page count or a simple matter of the printer trying to maintain itself.
Maintenance If a user has just loaded new paper into the printer or if an error message has recently been cleared the printer may run a blank page through.
Usually this is to make sure that the print path is now clear and that the next sheet it positioned correctly for printing.
Page Count
When a document is edited there is sometimes a blank sheet left at the end of the document. So, for example, if a 10 page document is edited down to nine pages, the computer and printer still sometimes read it as a 10-page document when a user hits the print key.
Page Separator
In some cases where a large number of documents are being printed, users may set a blank page separator.
This puts a blank page between copies of a document to show where one ends and the next begins.
A quick look at the printer's settings or control panel will tell you if this option has been turned on.
Fix a Printer Spool Error
When you send a job to your local or network printer, the print spooler is what keeps track of that job's location in the queue.
If the print spooler is not running, your job will not be able to reach the printer, so it is important to know how to resolve print spooler errors when they occur.

Click on the "Start" button and choose "Control Panel" from the menu.
Double-click the "Printers and Faxes" icon and locate your printer.
Double-click on the printer to get the list of jobs in the queue.
If you see any jobs in an error status, right-click on those jobs and choose "Cancel" from the menu.

Close the "Printers and Faxes" window and double-click on the "Administrative Tools" icon. Choose "Services" from the menu.
Scroll through the list until you see "Print Spooler," then right-click and choose "Start" from the drop-down list.
This restarts your print spooler and allow your jobs to print.
Right-click on "Print Spooler" again and choose "Properties" from the menu.
Go to the "Startup" option and set it to "Automatic."
This ensures that the print spooler starts each time your computer does.

Feeds a blank sheet of paper after every print job

check and see if your cursor goes to the next page after your last written one in your document. If so then backspace to your last written page so that the blank page disappears because having this page the computer takes it as part of the document but because there is nothing on it a blank page comes out.

Hi there,
It seems that " Print on both sides (Manually)" is selected in printing options., when you want to print any document Go to file Print > select printer and click properties and disable the Manual printing option in device settings.
You should be able to get printing without errors,
if the option is not checked then check for the default paper tray,
save the settings and reboot your laptop/desktop and restart printer as well so that settings should work properly and any given command gets clear from memory, If these all settings are ok, Uninstall the printer driver and download the latest version drivers from HP website and install see links below
