Don't turn A/C unit on it's side or stand it up on it's rear. Bad news, period.

Unit is leaking out front portion because into sill or window casing because when you installed it you probably didn't see the part in the owners/install manual about leaving a 3-8 degree tilt toward the rear of the unit so that all water will run to the rear and drip off. You more than likely have it level, readjust unit to have a little tilt to the rear if you don't have a level.

Since it has been sitting this way for the season, recommend you slide unit out of it's case, clean out leaves or other dirt build up that's collected since original installation. Do not use high pressure water or air hose to clean unit as these items can damage coils or wiring.

As a tech, we see this all the time on units that have been installed by customers who bought their unit at HD or Lowes and carried them home and installed into window. Just for info, if we respond to a call and find that the unit is not properly installed and water is draining from front, manufacture's warranty is voided on the spot. Hate to see you loose a good warranty over an improper installation.

THERE ARE SMALL WATER WAYS INSIDE THE UNIT THAT ARE BECOMEING CLOGGEDAND OVER TIME THEY WILL START TO LEAK INSIDE THE WINDOW. YOU SHOULD PULL THE AC OUT AND CLEAN WITH A STRONG STREAM OF WATER . THE COILS INSIDE AND OUT SIDE. I DO MINE EVERY FALL BUT I TAKE MINE APART TO GET ALL THE DIRT OUT. IF YOU HOSE THE UNIT AND TURN THE UNIT ON IT'S SIDE LET THE UNIT SET IN IT'S NORMAL POSITION FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS SO THE OIL WILL RUN BACK TO THE COMPRESSOR. OR THE COMPRESSOR WILL LOCK UP

My LG LWHD1200FR air conditioner turns on, but the fan doesn't spin and no cold air comes out. What's the problem? How do I fix this?

Which fan doesnt spin the inside fan or outside fan? If its the outside fan try replacing the dual capacitor for the fan and the compressor. First take the fan blade and see if it spins freely if you spin it and it stops immedietly the fan bearings are bad. If it spins freely replace dual capacitor. If trhis helps please rate me and do a testimonial.

Air conditioner leaking water outside and inside the window. what should I do?

first try to tilt it more to the outside if this does not fix the problem the drain holes are plugged between the inside coil and the outside and possibly the hole on the outside. Its usually best to remove the unit and wash it out outside. try not to get water on the switches.

Clean both the cond and evap coils if they don't let the air through
that can cause icing
Check for strong air flow front and rear

My LWHD1200FR AC Unit is not cooling during the

The unit may not be big enough. From the model number I am thinking you a/c is a 12000 btu. Which is usally enough for a large room. However if you have an open floor plan or a really large room you may need a bigger or second unit.
