Sony Bravia Model No.KLV-32BX300 LCD TV is with me but i cannot take the audio out from the TV. I undertand that there's an audio output which I don't understand. This may sound a bit stupid that a tv does not have audio out but yes it is! I tried to google about this and no one seems to be able to fix this. So anyone here has encountered this problem before or using the same model and has solved the problem? I seriously wanna connect my speaker to the tv as I'm connecting to my Home theatre system

Just mute the TV and you will get sound out of your headphones. You may have to turn the TV sound up though.

Try turning off your speakers under the Audio section of your Menu, see if that works? Also check your user manual and see if it states anything. Oh-- does it say "Head Phone Jack"

Where do I find the audio output on a Sony bravia tv

Hi John,

if you're using the HDMI cable then the sound will be carried via that cable along with the Video signal. If you're connected via RCA's the Stereo output will be the Mini-HIFI jack that looks like the earphone jack on most cell phones. The Bravia also has the option for Optical output.

How do i connect my soni bravia television to internet

Hook up a computer to it. The tv could have an hdmi connector or monitor connector (check the back of the television to see which type of connectors you have available) so just plug a cable in from your pc to the tv.

For sound, a simple computer cable plugs into the headphone jack of the computer to the back of the television. If you have a PC, you may have a series of connectors for stereo surround sound systems (like a sound card). I use a simple jack that plugs into the headphone jack (stereo speaker jack) and also plugs into the pc audio in port on the tv. Now I just select the input (pc) from the sony menu and select the option for sound input and voila. As long as the pc is connected to the internet, your tv is your new monitor.

I just got a multimedia surround system with subwoofer.Spa7650/05, 180w.The subwoofer has three audio connections, front, centre and rear,My tv only has an audio coaxial.I can't connect it.What adapter...

Hello,
Firs of all lets get agree on something..The subwoofer has three audio connections for "output " to :front, centre and rear speakers...these are not for "input"..Your powered SUB provides necessary signal for other spekers..
You can connect TV audio coaxial to SUB input with a RCA cable.....if your SUB does not have "RCA input " probably it should have "3,5mm Haedphone female Jack"..
if this is the case you need to buy a cable ; one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up

Want to connect pc speakers and subwoofer to lg37lc55 tv unfortunaly it doesnt have an earphone 3.5 connection point. My other smaller tv does, the speakers and subwoofer consist of a white and red audio...

Hello,
Your TV should have an AUDIO OUTPUT other than optic..at least " Headphones" output..
You can connect TV audio output with a RCA cable.
white and red audio jack....
since SUB has both RCA and "3,5mm Headphone female Jack"..here are the options;
** you need to buy a cable one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
** or 2x RCA
white and red audio jack and connect from your TV..
**" "Headphones" output to SUB with 3,5 male-to-male cable ( the least recommended)
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...

Can't find where to plug my headphones to the Bravia tv

If you look closely in the area where your audio outputs are (red and white holes) you will see a headphone jack a 3.5mm minijack hole.

What type of audio connection is needed to connect headphones to the Sony Bravia, model KDL-40S5100

The problem wiht this TV is that it does not have headphone output jack (spec: http://www.reviewed.com/product/Sony/Bravia-KDL-40S5100/specs.htm)

You will have to use:
1) AUDIO line out jacks (RCA RED and WHITE JACKS) of the TV connected to small headphone amplifier to drive your headphone.
2) you will have to trun off the TV built-in speakers using on screen audio set up.
3) Set the TV audio line out to be VARIABLE instead of FIXED level if you want to use the remote control to control the level of the audio output feeding the headphone amplifier.

As you can see, it is real simple setup.

Example of headphone amp;

Same one at AMAZON: http://www.amazon.com/Upbeat-Audio-T613-BNC-Boostaroo-Application/dp/B000EIWCFE/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_1_0

Notes: you will need RCA plugs to mini-stereo phone jack adapter since this unit does not have RCA INPUT JACKS.

Dont do it.
The jack on your phone is an Output. So is the headphone jack.
You need a stereo mini plug to (2) RCA type male plugs.
Then plug that into the AUX or CD jacks in the rear of the Sony

Hi,

The audiolevel is much to low for a headphone.
You really need to use a headphoneoutput ( if its there) or a headphoneamplifier.
You tried to connect your headphone on line-level outputs.

Our tv loses power intermittently but after a few minutes when plug is removed the power is restored. are there known problems with this adaptor or is it the tv

There is a possibility that the jack in the T.V. is wired for mono and the plug you are using is stereo. This means that the stereo plug would short circuit the jack and affect the output stage of the sound. These jacks were used on older T.V.s. Go to your local electronics store and see if they can sell you an adapter to convert the stereo plug to a mono one. Check your manual for the T.V. first to make sure that this is indeed the case. Hope this helps.
