I just purchased a home with this washer and do not know where the soap goes or the softner and heard I cant use bleach???? I can find the dispenser but dont know what product goes in what hole???? And it seems small is this full size or how much product do I use compared to my full size bosch front load I used to have

then the solenoid is not actuating to allow water into drawer. take top off, very easy, two screws in back, pull back, lift off. follow hose from softer cup to little round device/solenoid. check wiring. check hose, tho you would know there was a problem with hose, because you would see a water leak. replace solenoid. hope this is the issue. good luck.

are the filters clean

You will have to pull the dispenser tray out and clear any debris. I've seen a sock in one (who knows how that got there,) toys and even a glob of laundry detergent pods leavings.

all front load washers have the problem. Mold and a build up or dirt and soap and fabric softner cause s old musty smell. The low water use makes the machine dirty and build up inside. Run a few Hot water washes with out clothing, Run it empty ,(run your hot water neer your washer to get the cold water out of the house pipes) hot water and pour bleach in side, 2 or more cups. Keep doing it. When your not using washer leave the door open so air can get inside. Hot wash,es with bleach will keep it clean, also dont use fab softner.

I have never heard of cooking oil but I have heard of vinegar. If you have had your washer for a while (over a year) it could take several times of cleaning to get rid of the odor. Also be aware that liquid softner actually builds up worse inside the tub then the soap does so only use 1 tablespoon of softner. If you run the washer with nothing in it and you see lots of bubbles in the water you still have the build up inside the tub. The last item I've heard of is something called "whirlout" (not sure on the spellng) that you can get from a hot tub dealer.

You are probably using too much soap and softner. You only need about 1 Tablespoon of each for a full load with a front load machine. Run it with nothing it in except bleach. If you see bubbles inside that means there's left over soap in the tub. Keep running it empty (with bleach) until you don't see bubbles anymore then start using less soap and softner.

have you removed the transit bolts and any packing. this is the most probable cause
