I can crank the truck with no problem. After it idles about 15-20 mins (i think it may reach a certain temp)it wants to shut off. It will not crank again until it sits for about 30 to 45 mins. I have cleaned out the EGR valve, distributor, distributor cap, spark plug, plug wires, ignition coil, fuel pressure regulator...and i think that is it so far...timing is good also.

The ignition module on this model is bad to go bad,When this truck dies like that again, check to see if it is firing. If it is not giving any spark, replace the ignition module,if it does not fix the problem, replace the pick up coil in the distributor.Ignition coils can cause this also, but the symptom sounds like the module. If I can help, let me know,If you have spark after the engine dies(check for spark after it dies)then check the fuel pressure, and the fuel filter. If the fuel pressure is fine, then the module and the pick up coil need replacing.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the help, but theses have been replaced already , know of anything elese it might be?"

Have you narrowed it down to ,no spark? How about fuel pressure?I am asking these questions so I can help,If you would, answer these questions I can maybe help, and then add input if you would. If you are sure there is no spark when it dies, check the est module on the firewall. It is a flat box, with a wide plug in.Get back with me soon as you can,and we can resolve your problem.

2005 lincoln navigator its saying check electric throttle control when rev over 3000 rpm it shuts off ive bought a new elecric gas pedal with sensor and its still shutting off Thank you Brian.

You may try this.

Here's the throttle body relearn procedure

Clear the PCM adaptive memory
1) Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2) Run a jumper wire from the positive battery cable to the now disconnected negative battery cable terminal. NOTE. Do this with the negative cable DISCONNECTED from the battery. The short circuit you're creating here is designed to drain all power from the capacitors inside the PCM. Leave the jumper connected for about 2-mins.
3) Reconnect the negative battery cable to the battery.
Turn off all electrical accessories before proceeding. Turn off headlights, blower motor, radio, wipers, etc.
4) Turn the key to run and wait for all warning lights to turn off. During the period the PCM will command the throttle body plate to sweep from full open to full close to "learn" the new positions.
5) Start the engine and let it idle for a full 10-mins until it reaches full operating temperature. During this period the idle may be higher than normal. It should slowly drop as the engine heats up. Watch the engine temp gauge and note when it reaches operating temp. Then continue to let it idle for an additional 5 minutes. It will continue to adjust idle during this period.
6) Drive the vehicle at various speed so the PCM learns shift points.

At idle 2005 4 litre mustang shows 50 psi at 75 degrees, when at normal temp pressure drops to 15,20 at idle. At 2,000 rpm shows 40 psi. This sounds low to me, is this normal?

That sounds normal. There would be specifications for it that you should check, but that sounds pretty normal. The specs probably show a pressure for idle at normal operating temperature, and another figure at a specified engine rpm. Or it may just have one spec at a certain rpm.

My 97 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 when I started up with an engine reaches a certain temperature the car just shuts down what's my problem

Check engine light on. Have the codes read. Is the temp normal or hot. Problems could be the crank sensor, coil pack, ignition control module, ECM.

92 accord starts and then shuts off

If the battery was dead/charged/replaced the vehicle may have to go through an idle relearn procedure. Get it running and try to keep it running by feathering gas pedal until it reaches operating temp. Ideally you want to be able to take it for a drive for the Honda PGM system to relearn

My 2006 equinox only runs hot wen idle!!!

Don't use it
Have a shop find out why
You should not run a vehicle more than a few min
after it reaches full temp as you can overheat the
exhaust converter but the coolant temp shouldn't
go up much at an idle without a problem

93 honda accord shuts off after reaching temp

I had the same problem with my accord years ago and it turned out to be that the ignition module would die whenever it got hot and then start working again when it cooled off. It is located inside the distributor and costs a bit less than a whole new distributor. I changed the entire distributor, to be sure all the ignition components were new and would not fail again for a while.
