Jun 17, 2010 - If you have figured out how to set up your cable box or antenna to yourOlevia TV, then the hard part is done and you just need to find an ...
Check its input connection for any loose contact. Make sure that the external antena has been connected to the proper input socket to the TV. If all are found OK, the tuner to your set is faulty. Contact any service technician.

You'll need to reprogram the channels.
Typically this is found under the settings in some sort of auto program section of the menu.
On most newer televisions, the setting is found under a 'Channel' section.
Just select auto program and your source, whether it be an antenna or a cable source.
When the auto program is completed, you'll have your channels back.
Tune the tv to a channel that is just blue screen. Then turn the tv off and unplug for at least 30 sec. Then plug the tv back in and turn it on. Then leave the tv on the blank screen channel go into the menu and do auto cable channel search. After the search is complete try all channels. This worked for me. My tv will not scan if the tv is on a channel that comes in. GOOD LUCK these tv's are junk .
if your tv is rotary or digital.if rotary you search manually the channel .first set the channel you want then press and hold the fine tuning manually counter clockwise to get some good reception.second the digital tv you may press the menu and choose the auto search ,then wait until searching will be finish.
Check the r/c[remote control] for ' fresh ' batterys.
Do you have " air wave " reception? or cable connection?
air wave reception will scan but cable reception can't scan because the channel is 'fixed' at ch.3 or ch.4.
You have to search for the channels. Go to your setup menu, and go to setup, then select TV, then do auto channel search. It may or may not have to be set on tuner to get to the TV options.
Often when using a Sky box, one doesn't use the channel tuning feature of the Polaroid HDTV. Often one connects the Sky box to a component video input, and the Sky box does the tuning.
