Simply uninstall your old program but make sure to back up your music and other media libraries. when you install the program.... it's done... registration is for updates only. however, if you need a license key, then you can just enter the key you have when you first purchased it. keep me posted with your feedback
Hello Westlake,
Have you tried reinstalling the installation CD? Try to run it. If upon placing it to your cdrom it wont automatically start an installation wizard, then you can start the installation manually by going inside the cd's files and you should be looking at a setup.exe file or the like.
Please let me know of any clarifications.
Thank you.
While many problems can be solved by less drastic measures, Compaq owners sometimes need to restore their computers back to factory new condition.
If the operating system becomes corrupt, or if the computer is struck with a persistent virus, restoring the PC to its original factory default settings is often the best way to deal with the problem.
While older Compaqs relied on restore CDs to restore factory settings, newer machines come with a recovery partition built into the unit.
Shut down the Compaq computer and wait for it to power off.
Press the "Power" button to restart it.
Press the "F11" key as soon as you see a black screen.
This will boot the Compaq into the recovery partition.
Follow the on-screen instructions to back up any user files before the recovery process begins.
Click "Next" to start the recovery manager and follow the on-screen instructions.
Hope this helps.

The problem is that the Finale Allegro Coda 2005 program has a built-in stop if you don't register it. Since I've registered it once already, will I be able to register it again?
