So, im running into a terrible restarting problem after syncing, most likely because of corrupted music files from limewire or actually i was thinking it might be an excess of songs. even though windows media player 11 wont say filled (after sync) I have a feeling that the restarting issue (my phone is practically flashing on, then restaring one time after another) might be from not having space on the card for updates? haha im no phone tech, just conceptualizing. this is my problem. if it is yours too, take the music back off your card or just remove your card altogether and your phone will be just fine. if you cant take the music back off the card, just format the card. ANYWAYS
to use windows media player 11 to sync to env3
plug in usb from phone to computer, i know its a big step
either- select music from the sync menu when the phone asks you
or - go into the my music folder and press the right tab button from the inner keypad that says sync.
then after your phone hooks up to your computer and is identifiable in the My Computer menu under LG VX9200, open windows media player, it might take a while to read the phone on the media player, then drag mysic into the window on the right hand side of the windows media screen. I had trouble when i clicked the sync tab on the top of the player screen, (you know, the tabs at the top that show now playing, library rip burn and sync) so i'd suggest not clicking the tab, and when device setup pops up, click next and finish. if your wmplayer screen freezes when you click finish and your device name comes up with two squares for its name, restart the process,
Cancel sync on your phone, get back to the sync button on your phone, and do it again, this time, make sure wmplayer is closed, then open it after your computer recognizes the phone. if the computer shows the name of the device as two squares, change the name, it seemed to help me. then.... well yeah just drag music into the window, its best to make a playlist that is named sync list..........mmmm better yet, that might be why mine is restarting, because the entire library is dragged from one playlist, but it doesnt syc like that....... damn nevermind. yeah just drag songs onto your phone and click start sync when you are finished, start sync will be located under the list of songs you create in the sync list window k? that was the bvest way i figured it out, except for my restarting issue, but like i said... limewire loves me. good luck, and help me out with my problem if you have any idea whats wrong, enV3 restarts after sync with micro sd card.

SONY BEAN WONT SYNC MUSIC WITH ITS SONIC STAGE SOFTWARE. with what software can i sync music on this mp3 player

--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.

Wont sync

That model doesn't register with me - is it outside the US? At any rate, the newer Philips player do not support synchronization through Windows Media Player in some cases. You will have to drag and drop the files directly through Windows Explorer.

You need to install Itunes and use that to Sync. the IPOD will not sync with Windows Media Player only ITUNES as programmed by APPLE. You may go to the link below to download it.

My Phillips Go Gear 8GB MP3 player wont sync music

Windows Media Player 11 ruins this player. Uninstall Windows Media Player 11, and roll back to Windows Media Player 10. Then use version 10 to sync songs to your device.

My media player 11 won't show up on my computer? it was working fine but now it wont show up

Read the warning about this device and Windows Media Player 11 at www.usasupport.philips.com

You will need to reformat the GoGear in Windows Media Player, but do a firmware upgrade first - open the Philips Device Manager and click on the Update tab. Then click the update button. After the firmware upgrade is done, open windows Media Player.
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your GoGear to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Philips Go Gear SAXXX" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and make your player properly read in Windows Media Player.
