And old DELL, GX280.
why post lacking what kind and size memory now? 1GB? 2GB?
or if replacing it all so it all matches.?
buy it on crucial.com> they know what it holds.
but you never told full name of PC>
first off it is and old OptiPlex. came with windows 2000 ,omg./
some sold 2005 year so is 14 years old,. today.
Any 3020 is far newer and better,.$50 cash easy .....
why mess with any 2005 PC?
this PC came in 3 sizes,
SFF, , small desktop and full desktop . what might yours be?
the motherboards are NOT THE SAME>
DDR2 memory it is.
400 & 533 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
when pC was new only 1GB sticks were max size.
4GB max but the SFF is 2GB max, see?
4 slots of DDR but 2 only on SFF
SFF = small form factor PC. dinky do case. ok>?tiny
what works can be hard, on old PCs
old PCs have very tricky memory density limits per stick.
ok?>
That is why buy from only a place that allows fast , simple
exchanges or refunds. ok?

SOURCE: Increase the amount of shared video dell gx280
Hello!
Don´t lose time for that, I think that you have integrated grafik in own chip, and they have same options with 1 or 64 MB, option in bios, that isn´t a standard shared grafik. Try AGP card if you have a socet for that.

SOURCE: I need to enable AHCI
Hi Jordan,
You should be able to access your BIOS setting when you first turn on the pc. The first screen you see will tell you (briefly) to push either the Esc button, or F8, F12 to access the BIOS setup. Once your in the BIOS you may have to hunt down the control your looking for but the options are not that many and you should be able find it within a few minutes.
Word of warning, by changing settings in the BIOS, you can cause your pc to act much differently or not even boot up correctly. So if you enable the Advanced Host Controller Interface (AHCI) and it does not act like you want it to, you can always change it back.
Hope this helps
