My keybord isnt working properly it presses diffrent letters then what i am pressing

NUMBER LOCK
You have press the NumLk key (number lock) and this changes the right hand keys to a number pad.
Press the NumLk key (also doubles as the ScrLk key to toggle the Number lock). it is near the F12 function key. When the NumLk has been enabled a LED light is turn on to indicate this function has been selected. Press the NumLk key again to turn off the Number Lock.

Press, and hold down on the Shift key, then press the NumLk (ScrLk) key.

i thing you software is not working you have to chack your manual

Make sure that one of your LOCK key is not on usually there is an LED to tell you this sometimes this will send half the keyboard screwy something that happens most on laptops check out my tip HERE

Assuming you are running windows -

1) Press your Start Menu Button
2) Go to Control Panel
3) Look for Region and Language settings - depends which version of Windows you have -- but have a look - may even just be under keyboards
4) You are looking for a windows like this one


5) Change the settings to match your location
6) Make sure tha Language bar is enabled and docked and that additional Language bar Icons is selected
7) You can use the lanaguage bar to resolve these problems from now on...

sounds like either there is something stuck under keys ie (kids toys, food scraps, stuff) or keyboard is bad

if you are using windows vista as your operating system go to the control panel then select regional and language options then select keyboards and languages then press change keyboards.from the general tab add the language that you want
delete or move down the language that you are currently using at this point,dont forget to press ok when done
similar process if you are using windows xp

My Blackberry 8310 curve key board is not working properly. When I press 5 nothing happens on the screen, when i press 4,7,and some of the letters dont work at all till i move them arround .
