I have recently installed windows 7 to a fujitsu amilo li 2727

I have recently installed windows 7 to my fujitsu siemens laptop and now my fn buttons don't work e.g. wireless or change the brightness of the screen how can i get these to work?

I have been through this myself, the software you are missing is called Launch Manager. Browse to Li 2727 on http://ts.fujitsu.com/support/downloads.html and download the drivers for vista, verified working on win7 ultimate. Install launch manager and the wireless + brightness hotkeys will work again without any further setup!

You need to download from the fujitsu website the associated keyboard drivers.

In your old_windows under programs there will be a launcher file. Copy this into your new programe file and then reload the launcher software.
This worked for me with ultimate.

This should normally fix this problem by updating all drivers.

Please uninstall the driver though Device Manager and get it install from the disc given by manufacture website or download the latest driver.

Hi there.
To factory restore a Amilo 2727, restart the laptop and press F8 as it starts up. It will bring you to a sub menu with safe mode etc, in that list you will see factory restore, choose that option and just follow the on-screen instructions.

do you have an Fn button(function) the letters Fn are usually a different colour.If so you need to hold it down and then press the wireless button.The wireless button should have the same coloured letters or symbol looks like an aerial
