It is not necessary to move stationary pointer:
The stationary pointer points straight down at 6:00, and is used as a mark for setting current time.
Lift and rotate yellow dial until current time lines up with the pointer.
It will not break anything by moving the pointer, but you might forget the current time location.

was you change brightness setting??try to set more dark, if at the darkest setting still bright it mean your LCD was not work properly, If the LCD did not work properly it mean the time for Change the LCd with new one

External Hard drives are not designed to an operating system version, they will work with any windows system. The only difference is between MAC and windows.

Remember windows 7 is designed for people who don't know anything about computers, so they can just use it without knowing anything.

So windows 7 will work with anything more then vista will.

Don't worry it will work fine with win 7.
