Is there any way to delete a fixya account, I appreciate all of the assisstance I have gotten, but I really do not need it any more, and would prefer to just delete it. I would like to have everything i have ever posted deleted too. If anyone can help me here I would appreciate it

You need to email [email protected] if you do not want to contenue us any more we are very sadden to see you go at least I am without your support fixya would not be here trust me on this. Alot of people get helped if you did not receive good service let me know what the issue is give me a chance to solve your issue and keep you happy but if you just had you issue solved but do not want to contenue let atleast the first payment go through so the guy who solved your issue well gets his 10 cent benifit otherwise write [email protected]. Now what you posted pretty much stays WHY? Because the information is used to help people for free if your issue was solved other might be searching for that solved problem to solve theres but your account can be taken away but the information i think stays email them please. Sorry to see you go :(

How to delete account on fixya
If you wish to keep your Fixya account but stop receiving notifications, you can easily change your email settings:
1. Sign in to your Fixya account
2. Click your avatar on the top right and select "My Account"
3. Click on "My Settings" tab from the Blue bar and scroll down to "Email Settings"
4. Mark your preferred option or stop all notifications regarding questions you follow by selecting the white "Unfollow" button

Please Restore Account
if you attempted to delete your account, you have an allotted time to log back in to cancel the account termination. once you log back in your account is restored. after 3-4 of the request to delete the account, it is permanently deleted.

if it has been less than 4 weeks, try logging back into the account. this will cancel the termination of the account.

It is very possible that someone else has gotten into your account some how. Be that you left your account logged in at a place where someone was able to get to it after you got up or someone just hacked your account.

I highly suggest changing your password and your hint question on your account.

You cannot change your username on the site. You may however ask for this account to be deleted and then set up a new account and a new username. Contact [email protected] and they will help you with this.
