Our LG heat pump flashes ch 67. What's the cause and how do we fix it please? When you pay $5,000 for a unit you would expect it to work for more than 2 months. Thank you.

SOURCE: lg split system air conditioner

Try sutting off the power to both units. This may reset the unit. Check out the service manual at LG website www.lgusa.com. Go to their support page and put the model number in. Remove and replace the batteries in the remote. If there is a communication error, the inside unit will display 3 flashes. If all else fails, call LG at 1-800-243-0000. Good Luck!

SOURCE: Should the LG LS-K-1830CL outdoor unit ice over on

Running the heat pump in low outside ambient temps. will definitely cause the coil to ice up. An ouside temperature senor or a wind baffle should be installed in climates that get below freezing. This would definitely cause the heat pump to operate at lowered efficency and maybe not at all. It should go into defrost mode if the sensor is working correctly when the coil ices up.

We have a LG heat pump. The unit won’t turn on. We have CH flashing on the screen and then back to the temperature

If the Heat Pump will not turn on, check fuses or circuit breakers first. If the connections have been compromised, you could experience a short circuit. If the heating element has burnt out, naturally there will be no activity.
