SOURCE: stuck dough blade

On the DLC 7 Pro cuisinart the blade was removed by removing
the plastic bottom. Make sure the unit is unplugged. Remove the four rubber pads on the bottom. This was the hardest part because the pads are glued so securely that the inner rubber surface tears as it's removed. I used two flat blade screwdrivers and worked carefully, back and forth. Using a #2 philips, remove the four screws. Place the unit on its side and while inserting a screwdriver between a spoke and the motor frame gently turn the blade counter clockwise. Be careful not to put pressure against the cooling fins. Very little pressure was needed and the blade came right out. I might have been able to hold the shaft from turning without removing the bottom, by going through the vent slots in the bottom, but I was concerned with cracking the plastic. To replace the rubber pads I matched the design of the torn rubber pad with the shape (design) of the surface glued rubber and used thin two-sided tape.

Dough is normally water soluble. Try soaking it in water for a several days up to a week. Then try prying it loose.

SOURCE: attachment stuck on shaft of food processor

put the mixing bowl up as much as possible. spray some wd40 into the groove between the attachement and the motor shaft. Wait for several minutes, then with a hammer and a piece of wood, give the bowl a good wack. With a few goes, it will gradually come off. I will be putting some butter inside the attachement from now on to keep it lubricated

SOURCE: My kitchenaid food processor won't work

Does the actuator push down far enough to catch the button at the bottom? I repaired one simply by adding a vinyl screw cover to the top of the button so it was tall enough to be reached by the actuator.

Check that the safety lock pin is releasing from the base. It is the thing in the tube down the side of the bowl that the lug on the lid engages with. It stops the motor running with the lid off..

Haw can i use ?

My food processor is one of my most-used appliances. I just got a new Cuisinart (at Costco - with an extra workbowl!) and use it at least twice a week. I grate cheeses like cheddar or swiss, pulverize parmesan, make bread crumbs, hummus, pesto, salsa... I make pasta dough in it before rolling out in my Kitchenaid pasta attachment. Pie crusts come together in a flash. And it's great during the holidays for chopping nuts and certain cookie doughs. I've chopped my own beef for burgers, etc, etc. I keep it in a cabinet but it's easy to pull out whenever I need it. And there are only 2 of us at home.

By the way, the blades are so sharp in the new machine that I cut my finger trying to clear something from the blade. I'll use a spatula next time!

ford performance chips.

Blade holding disc for Breville Food Processor Model No. FP7/FP8 Replacement required. Phone numbers required for contact.

Hi. I'm a Breville Service Centre.

No new parts for FP7 or FP8 are available, your best bet is to check out garage sales or you local Salvos/St Vinnies etc as people may sell their odd pieces once their motor dies. Which is rare because they were good machines!

Good luck!

We can`t disasemble it with the dough blade in, any tips?

All of the blades "lock" (rest in a groove) when rotated clockwise. This is so they'll stay put when in operation. When you take the bowl out with a blade in, you're moving the pair in a clockwise direction. So, you lock the blade in, thus locking the bowl down. Either remove the blade first by rotating it counter clockwise, then up or move the blade back 1/10th of a turn after rotating the bowl as far as it will go clockwise.
