SOURCE: Etherner will not connect

The ethernet connection on the printer is for a router.
You don't connect directly to the computer with the ethernet connection.
If you want to connect directly use the usb port on the printer.

SOURCE: no connection ref hp officejet pro 8500 a909a

How are you connecting to the printer (over the network or a direct USB connection)? If you are using a USB connection, try a new cable or plugging into a different USB port. If you use a USB hub, try a direct connection.

If you are using a network connection, check if your firewall is blocking the connection. Also check that the router (or switch) didn't dropped the network connection and didn't re-synch with the printer (or worse changed the IP address of the printer).

I hope this helps.

To walk you through I'd need to know the OS you are running, but the generic answer is that you need to go into the print driver, and in the Printer Properties, under the ports tab , select the USB002 port rather than the DOT4 port and Apply the changes.

Have an HPofficepro 8620. When trying to print the paper won't feed from the tray. Says paper jam and there is no paper anywherecthatcwe can see.

On my HP (Not an 8620) there was a part on the back of the printer that I had to remove to get to the jammed paper that I couldn't see. I believe it just had two push-in latches. Hope it helps.

Looking for a service manual

I hate to say it but good luck. HP makes very little available for the standard officejet products in terms of parts or manuals. They mostly treat these as return to HP for repair or if under warranty they do a exchange for a refurbished unit.

How do i refill my hp cartriges in my hp 8610 printer step by step.

All refill sets, come with a good description. But before you buy ink, make sure your cartridges can be filled and the chip can be reset. So you won't end with filled and unusable cartridges and dirty hands.

HP Officejet pro 8625 stopped printing

Disconnect the electrical plug. Leave unplugged for a couple of minutes. Replug the machine and see if the printer has reset itself.
