Sometimes your settings through your computer can control this, look at your monitor settings and adjust your time needed for the computer to tell your monitor to shut off.

SOURCE: Power button light flashes (blue flashing light)

You may have problem in the power supply section, that wil be the first place to check. Look for caps with bulging/leaking tops first.
Please see my photo albums so you will know what to look for.

How do I turn off the Samsung sync-master p2050 monitor?

If it doesn't turn off by holding the power button down for 10 seconds, then it cannot be turned off by the power button alone, like most modern lcd monitors. Most modern monitors goes into standby mode. To completely cut power, you must unplug the power cable.
I've enclosed a link to the install manual for reference.

My screen wont turn off

Press and hold the power button on the monitor until it turns off. If you press and hold the button for more then 2 minutes or so and get no response, unplug it from the power source. Then press and hold the power button down for 60 seconds while it is unplugged. then plug it back in and turn it on. that should solve your problem.

My tower has power but won't come on

first guess is the motherboard is bad

a few things you can try:

unhook the monitor from the computer and test it on another computer. If the monitor works then its most likely the motherboard.

leave the computer unplugged for a few hours then plug it back up and give it another try just in case it overheated.

have the computers power supply tested as a bad power supply can cause all sorts of issues.

other than that you are down to a new motherboard and or a new computer.

Helpme please

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

hope this may help;
