Ensure that the problem is not setting first. On Talea you can stand stand by parameters, in that case the machine not shutting down can be normal. Go through each setting and use the steam button to reset. See from page 10 in the service manual below.
If that does not work, try a test cycle, as explained at page 25 in the service manual below.
If all that does not work, then it is not a matter of settings, but the machine is defective.
If the machine has much usage, then the problem may be pump or pressure
sensor. This still won't explain why the machine does not turn off. If the machine is not too old, it can be an electronic failure. Call Saeco at the number listed on manual to get ti repaired.
