THE TV
Well that's a given, I've been shopping around all day. I figured if I can also repair this one for under 200 it will make a great addition to the man cave. I can get all 3 boards cost 60, the 11 led strips cost about 50 so just curious which is more likely, boards or leds?
Like I mentioned earlier it smells like burned capacitor or something like that
i would just do the whole shooting match full rebuild

SOURCE: No printing on right side, I replaced the imaging drum but that did not solve the problem.
There are two possible solutions to this common problem.
1) The Cyan cartridge may not be in 100% of the way. If the handle of the Cyan cartridge prutrudes even slightly, it can obstruct the printhead for the black developer. Remove and reinstall the Cyan cartridge and test.
2) The printhead is dirty, with some toner spillage on the printhead. All new imaging drums also include a new cleaning pad for the cleaning wand.
The cleaning wand is designed to clean toner off of the printhead. you can see this in your printer manual, but basically, just open the front cover, pull the the blue handle on the right side forward ( this opens the access cover for the cleaning wand on the right side of the printer ).
gently pull the cleaning wand out ALL THE WAY, then slide it back in ALL THE WAY. do this several times.
The cleaning wand is intended to travel across the print head in only one direction, which is why you should make sure that it is pulled all the way out.
One of these two solutions should fix your problem. If the problem is resolved, but then reappears after a short time, then you have a defective developer that is leaking toner on the print head. The color of the defective developer can be determined by the color of the cleaning pad after cleaning the printhead as discribed above.

If you're seeing a shadow either vertically or at an angle the most common/probable cause is the light tunnel in the light engine. I have this same problem with my ru-44sz51d and have found many people with similar problems. For reference search "dlp light tunnel" as many samsung dlp's are suffering from the same problem and have been since they were purchased. You should be able to repair this yourself, but only if you feel comfortable and are knowledgable in such a situation. The repair may consist of replacing any number of the 4 or so mirrors or just reapplying the silicone adhesive to the original mirror. As I have not done this yet myself I can only speculate and refer to topics I've read about. Good luck

SOURCE: The screen fades to black a few seconds later and
safemode means that windows has detected something wrong. Go to programs accessories and system tools. run scan disk then defragment. Shoould solve problem. Make sure system is able to breathe. Try putting a fan on it to see if it runs cooler.
SOURCE: Picture flickering and faded on left had side of the screen
if rebooting the monitor would do no good, try to get a spare monitor cable if the same flickering issue took effect. If it is so, then call your pc provider to repair your monitor..
