There is no "wire" to use, the factory radio is connected to the canbus (part of the vehicle communications wiring that goes to your computer in the car). You need a converter box that converts it to a signal that your radio can "understand."

take the blue/white wire coming from the radio and tie that in with your solid blue wire coming from the radio and which is connected to whichever wire in the car. So in total you'll have 3 wires at a connector.
Sounds like you have a broken dock connector. Apple
should give you a replacement. If you're out warranty, you can try to

The best way is to use a vehicle specific wiring harness that plug into the vehicle harness. You just splice the wires from your receiver harness to the vehicle specific harness, matching function for function and plug them in.

1) Remove the ashtray and the two outermost screws exposed in the ashtray cavity. 2) Remove two screws from each side of the dash console. 3) Remove the climate control knobs. 4) Unclip the trim bezel and remove. 5) Remove four screws securing the car stereo to the dash. 6) Pull car stereo from console releasing antenna and connectors.

if you have the wire connector it's easy.....give the negative conection to the body of the player..find the wire from the battery with has the power supply even when the switch is off..and connect it to the yellow wire.that is for the memory...find the wire which has the power when the switch is on ,and connect it to the red wire from the player....what i mean by switch is the ignition switch... u can easily find the speaker connections...most speaker wires comes as blue,ash,green,white...there are two wires from each colour......
