Kenwood KDC-248u installing in my 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. Steering Control Wire

There is no "wire" to use, the factory radio is connected to the canbus (part of the vehicle communications wiring that goes to your computer in the car). You need a converter box that converts it to a signal that your radio can "understand."

I just put my old Kenwood KDC-X679 deck in a friends car and the radio works but the cd player and aux won't play audio

take the blue/white wire coming from the radio and tie that in with your solid blue wire coming from the radio and which is connected to whichever wire in the car. So in total you'll have 3 wires at a connector.

IPhone 3GS not charging

Sounds like you have a broken dock connector. Apple should give you a replacement. If you're out warranty, you can try to open it and replace dock connector. You can get the part at iPad Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to open a kindle and install parts at iPad Repair Guide.

How can i connect my kdc-mp228 receiver to my 2003 ford ranger factory?

Hello kciag07,

The best way is to use a vehicle specific wiring harness that plug into the vehicle harness. You just splice the wires from your receiver harness to the vehicle specific harness, matching function for function and plug them in.

There are several manufacturers and numerous online retailers where you can purchase such a harness.

Here's a link to www.sonicelectronix.com that sells the Scosche FD16B which appears to fit your vehicle.

Hope this helps.
