So, your TV does not come on? That part is not clear to me. I have seen TVs that do just that but is normal. Some machines have internal codes reflected by the infrared LED. When they sense power in the circuits they send internal signals to other components. If your TV does not come on at all then the issue is in one of the internal circuits, could be configuration issue, or that the power supply is at a low level. Please consider that the power supply in some equipment are voltage sensitive.
Check capacitors. There are some very inexpensive meters for this and cheap capacitors are behind many problems in electronics. Once you find it is a bad cap you can replace it or the board.
Well I am unable to find the manual for this particular model but there should be something under settings to reset your flat screen. I was reading another forum and I believe it would be on page 4.
Our prolem is no matter how we adjust the screen when ever there message at the bottom of the screen this don't show up or is cut off. I get upset when I pay the amount for this 42" Plasma TV and watching the news there extra messages across the bottom of the screen espically when school closing due to weather. I've try to figure out using the instruction booklet with no results. Any ideas where the screen to where extra messages in lower screen can be seen to be read? [email protected]
