Try riffling the paper before feeding it into the printer. Grab a stack of paper. Hold it by the short edge, and fan the other ends to separate the sheets. Flip it around and fan it from the other side.

First, if the printer is less than a year old, it's still in warranty. Call HP for support.

If no warranty.....try to clean the rubber tire that pulls the paper up into the printer. clean it with isopropyl alcohol and a rag. Maybe scuff up the surface of the tire also with some fine grit sandpaper.

Also, maybe invest in a can of static guard spray (for clothing) and spray the area surrounding the printer. You just may have excessive amounts of static electricity trying to hold the paper sheets together.

Hope this helps!

My HP LaserJet 3050 is grabbing 2 pages when it prints. Can I fix this?

Clean the pick up rollers with a soapy damp cloth.
Throw that paper away and put in paper from a new unopened pack. There is also an answer here.

Why does my printer grab several pages of paper at once instead of one?

The printer when it was cleaned for paper jam might have damaged paper rollers which picks the paper as the gap is increased due to paper pull. You can replace rollers then problem will be solved .

Lexmark all in one new printer

Hi Susie,
This could be due to a dirty feed roller or maybe the type of paper that you are using. What you can do is inspect the feed roller and make sure there is no debris or dirt in it. You will find the roller at the end of the paper tray. Hope it helps.

It grabs several sheets of paper at one time

This is most likely a paper problem, the paper is basically sticking to the next sheet, Ensure the paper is stored in a cool dry place helps, dont load the paper with more than what you need for a couple of days and when loading the paper flick the pages to allow air between the pages
If this dosnt work try a different brand of paper

I have a cannon mp 240 bought it 7 months ago have barely used it, just purchased 1st set of ink cartriges. have printed maybe 4 pages since replacing.. Now says out of paper, wont feed sheets in. help!!

Check the rollers that feed the printer paper through. Use compressed air to clean out the printer and rubbing alcohol on the rollers once you clean them. If the rollers aren't grabbing the paper, then maybe a gear is not working properly.

Canon offers a one year warranty, take the printer in and get them to service it instead of trying to fix the problem yourself.

Paper feed grabs more than one sheet

Try fanning your paper several times. Take that nice neat pile of paper in your hands and wiggle it so that your thumb fans through the edge of the whole stack. Do this on both edges so that the stack of paper is slightly less perfect. You can also gently fold the whole stack slightly in both directions. Do this every time you add fresh paper. It should only take a few seconds.

Hi my printer doesn't pull paper from tray1 even if it set to pull paper automatically from tray 1 and 2 inadditon to this it needs manuallly feed papers.

My HP OfficeJet 7310 behaved correctly on the automatice paper feed for a long time and then began to be unable to pick up the page or would grab 2 or 3 pages at once. I was about to spend the $$$ to replace it, maybe $400 at that time. Instead I watched it work again and angin or not work. Noice the 1 inch square piece of cork? I went to Hobby Lobby and for less than $2 bought a roll of very thin cork. I cut an inch square and replaced the one on the machine and it has worked perfectly since. I still have 99% of the cork roll. What it?

Dell 922 All-in one ink jet printer paper feed

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Paper Out or Not Loaded Correctly (E-03) - BUT have paper in it!

Hi, please check if there is any foreign objects that was stuck when it try to grabs mulitple pages. Then power cycle your printer. Make sure also that the left edge guide or platen lever is seated correctly as the paper is loaded perfectly in the feeder and try printing. If issue still present it only means that the sensor that responsible in grabing papers in the paper feeding section is damage or the mechanism that holds the paper was get damage when the printer feed multiple paper at the same time. You may need to call the printer manufacturer and ask for service.

Canon Pixma Paper feed not feeding!!

Either the pickup roller needs to be replaced,(a maintenance kit) or the tray isn't pushing the paper high enough to grab. Tyr loading a few more pages in the tray and making sure the tray is seated properly. Then try replacing the roller.
