You need to connect the green and black wire to a ground. The other two wires got to the two hot wires from your power. It does not matter which ones are connected as long as the ground is correct.

Plz briefly explain how to connect a 3 phase motor to star delta connection

A three phase motor will usually have three contacts and a ground. Hopefully the ground is distinguished somehow. The ground will have no resistance to the motor frame.
Delta is dangerous, it has a 'hot' leg, 220 volts to ground. The other two have 110 volts to ground (or 115 or 120). You can hook up any of the three power wires to any of the three motor wires. If the motor spins the wrong way, reverse any two, it doesn't matter which ones.

Where can i obtain a wiring diagram

A one phase 3 wire system has a center tap. Two hots and a neutral. Typical 120/240 volts.
A three phase 4 wire system has Three hots in a Y or Delta. The Y system has three hots and the neutral comes from the center of the Y, this is the neutral and grounded conductor, 120 volts from hot to ground and 208 volts hot to hot. In a 3 phase system the voltage is not doubled hot to hot as in a single phase system because the hots are 120 degrees phased from each other and the square root of 3 is the factor, multiply the 120 volts by 1.73 to get 208 volts hot to hot. Multiply 208 by the reciprocal of 1.73 and get 120 volts. Your exact application is not given so it is not known. A delta system is a triangle and the angle of each triangle is a hot wire, one angle would be grounded or the center tap of one of the sides of the triangle. Y is the configuration of the windings of the alternator or transformer and Delta is the configuration as a triangle of the windings of the alternator or transformer where the power supply is.

With a three phase home service, you can only connect two hots from your single phase generator, and the neutral. One of the house's hot does not get connected and any three phase loads in the house should be switched off and kept from energyzing or a circuit breaker or fuse serving that 3 phase load may trip.
Only one power supply can be connected at a time. The power company power must not be connected at all while using an alternate power supply unless your power supply has means to synchronize the alternating cycle.

It is adviced that the loads be kept within 10% of their rated voltage, especially motors.

Hi!3-phase motor wires brn/blue/blk no open cct.P.c.b there are no components burnt out or blown.I removed interlock switch and will buy new one and try again.Belt ok.Pump solenoid valve ok .

Check for a motor start capacitor that is defective. This can happen without external symptoms. Highly unlikely Hotpoint washer has 3-phase motor. Most household loads are single-phase. In North American residences, three-phase power might feed a multiple-unit apartment block, but the household loads are connected only as single phase. In lower-density areas, only a single phase might be used for distribution. Some large European appliances may be powered by three-phase power, such as electric stoves and clothes dryers. Three wires could be for different speed ranges or one could be frame ground.

L Tec HA306 WELDER

Set up for three phase then iam afraid it will not work as it should on single phase ,yes it will work of a fashion but ?? it would need a single phase transformer to work properly ,although it should weld rods of up too 2.5 with no problem ,You will only be able to use one side of the phase so you have four wires one neutral and three feeds of which only one can be connected although iam not sure here so consult a local electrician

How can i get single phase power from my 3 phase generator

I have not wire this myself
Wiki says under heading of single-phase:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-phase_electric_power
Single-phase loads may be connected to a three-phase system in two ways. A load may be connected across two of the three phase conductors or a load can be connected from a live phase conductor to the system neutral. Single-phase loads should be distributed evenly between the phases of the three-phase system for efficient use of the supply transformer and supply conductors. Where the line-to-neutral voltage is a standard utilization voltage (for example in a 230 V/400 V system), individual single-phase utility customers or loads may each be connected to a different phase of the supply. Where the line-to-neutral voltage is not a common utilization voltage, for example in a 347/600 V system, single-phase loads must be supplied by individual step-down transformers.

So it sounds like you take 2 legs of the 3-phase.
or
Take one leg of the 3-phase and connect to neutral ... neutral could be a ground rod.

I would put a meter on that circuit before hooking up my power saw.

How do I wire a three phase electric motor to 110 plug

You can't run a 3-phase motor on 110V unless you use a 3-phase inverter. Depending on the size of your motor, these will probably run you around $150 for the least expensive type. Take a look at--- http://americanrotary.com/static-phase-converters.html

How do I connect multiple (two or more) 3 phase ac power sources (from wind turbine alternators) to a single 3 phase junction to power one device?

what did you mean by single 3 phase? single phase motor have two wire output 110-110, 3 phase gen have 3 wires 110-110-110. if only two wires here ,this is single phase, all appliances are only single phase so you can connect it here, except some 3 phase motor or dynamo. the ac current has no polarity so you can connect to it all kinds of load depends upon the amperage of of your turbine generators

How to connect the 3 phase power supply to a 3 phase synchronous motor with control panel

I assume you have 3 phase power where this is going? The panel has 3 legs, 2 are 110 volt and one is 208 volt, you will need a tester to find out which is which if it is not marked, the motor should have a map on it for the wires to attach to, they go the same way, two, 110 and one, 208, I hope this helps, There will be one wire for a ground or a solid wire separate from the unit.

Wiring a 230V 3 phase heat pump

yes, this is quite important when it comes time to turn the motor. in 3 phase, motor rotation direction is critical importance. however, it is a simple matter of trial and error if only a fan is involved...not sure of consequences if freon pump is turned backwards...may want to remove pump wiring temporarily...so try "bumping" the fan only...your method for this "fan only" is yours to figure out. try to set to "fan only" somehow then apply power. if fan turns backwards, the take any 2 black wires and reverse connections. fan should now turn in proper direction.
