If you find the net total, that should be the total after discounts and refunds, voids etc so that is the actual money you should have at the end of the day

Casio PCR T500. Does anyone know to set up tax so that: - If cash sale, there is no tax added - If card sale (Debit/Credit), I can add tax at once to all sale items (or after subtotal) Thank you

You don't do it at a dept level, you change it at the payment level.
Go into programming and choose key programming. Change the taxable status of the cash and other payment keys depending upon the desired status.

I cannot fix the E037 error on my Casio PCR-T500? This pops up every time I try to do a cash sale?

You have a digit limit set on the cash button. It has been programmed to allow only a small amount to be paid via cash. You need to look up the codes for digit limit (HALO) in your manual and it will guide you through the processes for setting a digit limit on the cash button. If you have lost the manual, one of the users has one listed here:

Casio TE-2400 is subtracting 2 pence when I ring through and item and press subtotal- how do I sort this?

It usually means someone has made a mistake while changing prices.
try this:

turn key to program mode
press 0 button
press CASH button
press SUBTOTAL

If anyone has trouble programming the Casio TE-2400 cash register, the programming manual is here:

How I got mis report from Casio PCR-T2000 Cash Register

I think you are saying you forgot to get a report. If you have used the register after that day, you will have more than the days totals now. Do a report now and subtract the total of the last report you did from the one you get now and that is the extra you missed.
Hope that helps

Casio TE-2000

VAT is value added tax which is straight percentage. program tax one or two for the percentage and make sure your departments are set up taxable or non taxible. prgm 2 is vat probably and program 1 will be for dept. generally with casio.
