Good Heather, thank you for your inquiry! If the temperature of food rises to an unsafe level, the buzzer/beeping will sound and the red light, if equipped, will also glow. First, deactivate the alarm to the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on the unit. After deactivating the alarm and the unit has run approximately four hours, the red light/alarm should go off on its own. If the red light/alarm continues to stay on, the freezer may possibly have a communication problem with the control board, temperature control or a wiring harness. If this is the case, I would recommend connecting with an experienced technician to determine the underlying cause.

I would find the electrical breaker for this unit and shut it off for a minute, then re set the breaker thus resetting your unit.

These beep error codes may help you.
1. Four beeps every 30 seconds (On Battery LEDwill be illuminated)
This alarm indicates that the Battery Power Suppliedoutlets are now supplying battery power as opposed to power from the utility.If the UPS determines that the input utility power is unsafe for your computerequipment, the UPS will switch to battery power.
Note: Ifthe power disturbance is brief, you may only hear one or two beeps.

2. Continuous Beeping (On Battery LED will beilluminated)
This alarm indicates that a Low Battery condition hasbeen reached and that the UPS will soon shutdown. Once the UPS transfers to OnBattery operation, it can only stay on battery for a limited amount of time.The UPS will sound this alarm about two minutes before the batteries aretotally exhausted. Once exhausted, the UPS will shutdown and turn off itsoutput power to your equipment. If you hear this tone you should immediatelyshutdown your computer to prevent data loss or corruption.

3. Continuous Beeps for 30 seconds (Back UPSOFFICE 250 and 280 ONLY)
This alarm indicates the unit has detected an Overloadcondition after it has performed a self-test during start-up.

4. Continuous Two-Tone Beep
This alarm indicates a severe Overload was detectedwhile the unit was on-battery operation. This tone will continue to sound untilthe unit shuts down.

5. Continuous Tone (On Battery LED will beflashing)
This alarm indicates that the battery-powered outletsare overloaded.

6. Continuous Tone (On Line and On Battery LEDsflashing) Back UPS OFFICE 350, 400, and 500 ONLY
This alarm indicates that an internal UPS fault hasoccurred.

The only thing you can try is go into Setup then Alarms and turn off the alarms setting. The settings are Off, Single(default) and Continuous. You want to change it from Single to Off.

When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops. Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.

To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.

Beeps usually indicate something is not plugged in or a program is not running properly for 'whatever' reason...r there any errors on your screen? If not, does it continue to beep after window icons have loaded? If so, try typing ctrl/alt/delete (at same time) to see if an apllication continues to run b4 it shuts down... If so, note that program application file, as you may need to delete that program and reload it to solve your 'beep'. Had a similar problem with my Canon fax/scanner/printer...Hope this helps.....DayGirl48

If working OK, probably means that the temperature alarm goes off because is getting hot the PC. I suggest to check why is that happening. All fans working OK? is the CMOS temperature alarm set too low? check your motherboard instructions booklet- It will tell you what the beeps mean probably in the last pages. Good luck
