I have checked the manual for the machine they list most of the error codes from 1 -22 but not what 18 might be. I checked with other lines to see what they have and the larger multitank systems use symbols not numbers for errors. So here is the manufactures page on the STR series, the manual isn't really helpful but they have contact information both a phone number in germany and an email address. I would try them. Good luck

the spanner sign is normally a maintanance it may be telling you to clean or change a fillter or something hope this helps
