Plug Component cables from Cable box to DTV and get Blue screen. DVD player to Component 1 or 2 blue Screen. TV was recently put in storage for a couple of months.

Simplest thing would be that your component cables are not HU'd correctly. Having them reversed would do this.

two possible problems:convergence IC(2pc),or hi voltage output:transistor,flyback,capacitors.
Looks like you are going to be working with the following:
1080i (HDTV) • 480p (EDTV) • 480i (SDTV)
Hook up depends on what else you have connected to the TV. If you have nothing connected to the DTV component inputs, I suggest using those, as it will allow up to 1080i. Otherwise, use the 2 other component connections directly to the left of the DTV connections.

It is old projection purchased in 2001. Picture works wit the rca composite jacks and cable jack. Picture is fine when using those inputs, just bein 480. Had convergence issue before not seeing same symptoms. Just not working with the component or dtv inputs. Hooked the cables up same way I have done for years & tried different cables to rule a bad cable
