Question about Toshiba Satellite 3000-S353 3005-S303, and 3005-S403 14.1 LCD Display HSD141PX11-B- K000811740 CD-ROM Drive
I want to get the screen from my laptop(toshiba) to show on the screen of a projector; however, when I press F5, nothing happens. What should I do? (knowing that I have the right cables)
First you need to enable the 2nd monitor with either FN+F# key combination. OR enable it from your display settings.
Right click on your desktop and select properties or personalize
Then either open display settings if your on vista or on xp open the last tab that says "settings"
You should see #1, that is your laptop display, #2 is external monitor, right click on number two and select ATTACH, then you can adjust the resolution from the settings below, when done click apply.
You should have picture on the projector, To move files and programs to the projector display simply drag them out from the right corner of your main display and they appear on the projector display.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
