It is not the Kobo that has set the password, rather the router for the wifi that you are trying to connect to. You just need to know the password for the router to let you connect. If a router has no wifi password, it is considered unsecured and ANYONE can access it. So most all routers use password protection. If it is YOUR wifi system, and you no longer know the password, you can change it if you access the router setup for wireless and change the password. Be advised, however, that all devices that connect to the wifi will need to change their passwords as well or not be connected. If it is not your wifi you are trying to connect to, then you need to obtain the wifi password from that wifi system's administrator.
If you had regular user access to the computer before getting internet service, you should be able to connect even without administrator access. First try connecting with a cable to your internet modem directly without going through a router or over wifi. There are jacks on both the modem and your computer that would be connected to using a standard Ethernet cable, which you can get at Radio Shack and now many drugstore or dollar stores.
The term 'Guest user' implies a wifi (wireless) network, with regular and guest segments. Depending on who set them up, these segments generally require some form of password to access them. On a Windows PC, which has to have a wifi card operating on it to make the connection, look for an icon on the lower right portion of the taskbar that is supposed to look like a monitor with a cable beside it. Hover your mouse over this icon and it should have an option to list available networks. Click on this option and you should get a list of wireless networks detected by the PC. Choose the one you want to go on and click on Connect. That should bring up a dialog box where you can enter the password for the network. Some cable companies put a sticker on their cable modem/routers with the network identification and password printed on them. If you don't see such a sticker or have some information in your installation manual for the cable connection, you will have to contact your installer to get the information in order to proceed. Be sure to type in the password EXACTLY as shown (paying close attention to upper and lower case and not putting in any extra spaces).
By no network coverage do you mean no cellular signal or can't connect to your home wifi? If wifi trouble push settings button on iphone. Select and turn on wifi. It will search for available wireless networks. Choose your home wifi, should be the strongest signal, most bars. If you don't know your ssid , look on the sticker on the modem. For instance ssid at&t 2345. Once you select your ssid you need to enter password which is also found on the sticker on modem. Enter password and select join. You should now be connected to your wifi. This will always reconnect automatically when you leave and come back home. If not wifi issue, are you just too far from cell tower to get good signal?
You are attempting to connect to a PROTECTED WIFI network. You must know (or be given) the password for that network in order to be granted access. If you do not know the password (or who to get it from), chances are you don't have any business connecting to that particular network.

Hi , you will need a Wifi Access Password , this should be on the bottom of your modem or provided to you.also make sure Wifi is enabled on both ur iPhone and Modem.....If problem still persists then your modem could be faulty...Try testing a wifi PC with the modem, if it works then its Settings on your iPhone. Good luck
You will be asked for a password only if you are connecting to a password protected WiFi network. You can set a password for your Home WiFi modem and after that you have to enter the password whenever you try to connect.
