How to reset rc5240p without remote

Power supply problem. Most likely leaking filter capacitors. Probably will cost more than a new player.

You have to select the Custome Setup Window to make a Factory Default option to this set. Without its remote control, it is not possible to select the custom setup window.

Condensation on the circuit needs drying off in standby mode(turn it on for a few hours). Or use fan to dry it off.

My universal remote works by holding the DVD button for 3 seconds then press 0549 while still holding DVD button, then turn power on & off...This is the only code I have for this DVD player....

My DMR-E95H displays: "CHK REMOTE2" whenever I push a button on my "replacement" remote. Is there a way to reset the DMR-E95H without the original remote?

Sorry! We cannot help you wih subverting parental controls. We have no way of checking that you are an adult. Lock-out channels are done with a password that a parent uses to keep kids off. There are ways to reset this but legally we cannot supply them in case you are a minor.

Called Zenith. They said: turn on the DVD player. Hit "set-up". Scroll down to the "lock" icon. Scroll over to "Rating". Scroll over to unlock. Enter 0000. Click on Ok. Enter 0000 again, click Ok again. Menu should read unlock. Voila!
