SOURCE: "Backup Battery Very Low"

NEC has identified an issue where the system can erroneously generate the "Backup Battery Very Low" message. There are two possible solutions that will eliminate this erroneous low battery warning message (the first method is the preferred solution, the second method can be used if the update file is not available). Solution I. Install a new version of the driver that controls the battery monitoring circuit. 1. Download the Low battery warning fix to your desktop. 2. Using ActiveSync or a compact Flash Card, copy FixBatt_HPC2K.EXE to the MobilePro internal disk. 3. On the MobilePro, double click the FixBatt_HPC2K icon. 4. When the message "Low Backup Battery Issue" is displayed, tap the "Patch it" button 5. When prompted turn unit over and momentarily depress the Reset button using the stylus. Solution II. Change the default power management configuration. Configure your MobilePro 900 to suspend when the LCD lid is closed on battery power and AC power. To ensure that the device suspends whenever the lid is closed, please make the following changes and perform a soft reset: 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. Open MobilePro Settings. 3. Go to the LCD Suspend/Resume tab. 4. Place a check next to "Enable suspend while on External Power." 5. Click the "Advanced" button and place a check next to "Enable suspend while on External power. 6. Click OK to close the Advanced Setting window and click OK to close the MobilePro Settings. 7. Turn unit over and momentarily depress the Reset button using the stylus. NOTE: Both the software update and power management settings are cleared on a hard reset and must be re-applied.

SOURCE: Error message "Backup Battery Very Low"

The MobilePro 900 back up battery is low and should be replaced. The battery is a CR2032 coin-cell battery, which is very common and can be purchased at most department and drug stores. Refer to section 1-7 of the "MobilePro 900 Handheld PC's User's Guide" for detailed replacement instructions.

Elna 8000 Sewing Machine. The 'btr' message is appearing on start up. Where are the batteries?

Question edited to fix the autocorrect.

The backup battery needs replacing.

The btr message means your battery backup is going bad and you need to change it. Tip the machine back, and on the bottom right there's a battery compartment for 2 AA batteries. Just put in new ones and you'll be set to go!

Hp pavilion a1102n winxp home. Blue screen after win splash logo, flashes too fast to read. 2x256mb. Dial up modem. Tried: removing modem, removing front usb FireWire media card slots. Removing one or...

Dear,
I saw your video and check the blue screen error. It comes for a friction of second and disappears but i kept my media player in slow motion mode and checked it. This error belongs to a missing registry file.
PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE for recovery.

A Stop 0xc0000218 error message means that a necessary registry hive file could not be loaded. This error message can occur if the file is corrupt or missing. To resolve this issue, you can reinstall the operating system and restore the registry files from a backup. The registry files may have been corrupted because of hard disk corruption or some other hardware problem.

This error message can also occur if the driver has corrupted the registry data while loading into memory, or the memory where the registry is loading has a parity error. In the latter case, turn off the external cache and check the memory chips.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Start your computer by running the Recovery Console, run the chkdsk /p command on the drive, and then restart your computer. Test to determine whether the issue is resolved. If the issue is resolved, do not complete the remaining steps. If the issue is not resolved, go to step 2.
  2. When Windows loads, press SPACE BAR when the "Load Last Known Good" message appears.
  3. Complete a parallel installation, and restore the registry files from a tape backup. To do so:
    • Reinstall Windows in a separate folder.
    • Restore the damaged registry hive from backup. This procedure is specific to the backup application that you used to make a backup. Consult the documentation of your backup application or consult the vendor if you need assistance. Typically, this procedure requires you to restore a system state backup to an alternate location, and then copy the appropriate registry files to the %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\config folder of the damaged operating system.
    • If you do not have a tape backup, include the backup of network servers and production workstations.
NOTE: If Windows is stored on a FAT partition, you can restore the files by using another computer and by copying the registry hive files to the %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\Config subfolder.
best of luck!

I have an app error 523 ive reset it and it dont work

Hi, On the BlackBerry smartphone, the 523 app. error Reset error message appears after pressing the Mute button, accessing an application, or performing a hard reset: To resolve this issue, first perform a hard reset. A hard reset involves physically removing the battery from the smartphone and then reinserting it. To perform a hard reset, complete the following steps: 1) Remove the battery cover from the back of the BlackBerry smartphone. 2) Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds. 3) Replace the battery cover. If this does not resolve the issue, the BlackBerry Device Software must be re-installed. Note: The BlackBerry smartphone will not show a Connected state in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Proceed to open and run the application loader tool. If BlackBerry Desktop Manager cannot connect to the BlackBerry smartphone, perform the following steps: 1. Remove the battery and run loader.exe from C:\program files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. 2. Remember to reinsert the battery after the loading operations begin. I Hope it helped you. Thank you for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a peavey pro-fex 2 preamp/FX ver 1.3 controller and when powereing up, get DSP interface error. Do you know what this means or how to fix it?

Your Profex likely has a dead NiCD battery. You are getting this error because this battery maintains your personal effect settings on an SRAM chip that requires constant power to "live". You can try reinitializing the SRAM on your unit by doing the following:

1. Power off your Profex.
2. Press and Hold the "PLAY" and "GLOBAL" buttons while powering the unit on.
3. You should see a message on the display that reads "MEMORY INITIALIZED". Afterwards the Profex should act normal.
4. If your internal battery is getting low or is already dead, it is going to start leaking (if it hasn't already). YOU NEED TO GET THAT BATTERY CHANGED NOW!!!!! If enough battery acid leaks onto the circuit board, it will ruin your Profex forever.
