If you shut it off and turn it back on five minutes later it will automatically feed one sheet then it goes into a paper jam again
Try unplugging from power source.
RDJagger is correct.
Sometimes the memory can hold the machine back from completing a job. Try unpluggging the machine for at least 30 seconds, and then re-supply power.
But, if it is feeding 1 sheet, There may be a small wad of paper near the feeder itself. Most modern printers and a removable paper tray, search in there towards the back for any little pieces of paper. Additionally, try removing the back panel by the spooler and see if there is a small jam there. Use a paperclip to pick the seams if need be.
Lift up the automatic document feeder. The feeder makes up the top half of printer, and it can be opened like the hood of a car. Lift the sides of it slowly. This exposes the printer mechanism and ink cartridges. Pull the jammed paper up and out of the printer mechanism with both hands. Pull it gently to ensure you don't damage any components.
