JANOME NEW HOME MY EXCEL 18W / MW3018 FREE ARM SEWING MACHINE -

Here are the steps to sew a buttonhole on the Janome New Home My Excel 18W/MW3018 sewing machine:
  1. Attach the buttonhole foot to the machine.
  2. Place the button in the back of the buttonhole foot and adjust the foot so that the button fits snugly.
  3. Select the buttonhole stitch on the machine. It may be a buttonhole symbol or a number corresponding to the buttonhole stitch.
  4. Set the stitch length to the desired length for the buttonhole. The machine may have preset lengths or you can adjust it manually.
  5. Place the fabric under the foot and lower the foot.
  6. Sew the first side of the buttonhole. Stop the machine when it reaches the end of the buttonhole.
  7. Sew the second side of the buttonhole, stopping at the end.
  8. Use a seam ripper or scissors to open the buttonhole carefully.
  9. Remove the fabric from the machine and trim any loose threads.
Make sure to practice on a scrap piece of fabric before sewing the buttonhole on your project.

How do I reset the New Home 5001 Sewing Machine Computer?

Maybe a manual would be helpful:
https://www.janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/retired/computer/memory-7--5001.pdf

Most machines will reset when turned off (and perhaps unplugged) for a while.

How to turn up a hem with no stitching showing on outside plz

Good evening to you and your sewing machine.
If you have the manual there is probably a certain program for doing the hem this way in the machine.
If you are a little nervous of using the machine to do the hem you could do it by hand with what was called in my younger days " invisible stitch" or you can practice on a piece of cloth in the machine, take a look here Magic Invisible Closure and here

If you do not have the manual handy you can always get it here Free User Manuals and Owners Guides ManualsOnline com

I've just got janome 634d serger, how can i make the bottom of a T-shirt ? Thank you so much

If you want the bottom of the T to look like RTW with the double row of stitching, you cannot do this on a serger.

You can achieve the effect by using a twin needle, two spools of thread, bobbin and a straight stitch.

Make sure the double/twin needle will pass through the presser foot and opening in the needle plate below the presser foot.

Practice on a double layer of a scrap of the T shirt material as the tension may need to be slightly looser than the normal setting.
