I have one contact that does not receive words in the text messages I send. What would cause this when all others are receiving the words in the text?

I've notice I have not been able to send MMS picture messages ... I've downloaded Handcent SMS and now I can at least send/receive MMS. New Samsung Galaxy s5 unable to send or receive text ...

check your message center number, if changed contact your service provider for the message center number :)

This could only be caused by a couple of things. The message center number in the handset may not be correct, which will cause the messages to fail. The other possibility is that the feature is not active on your account with your wireless provider. What you need to do is test a couple of things. See if you can send a text/sms message to yourself, in doing this you can verify that you can not only send, but receive text/sms messages. If you cannot send, or receive text/sms messages, then that verifies that the message/service center number is off, and will need to be corrected. If that works, and you can receive text/sms messages, then your service center number is correct, and you will move to the next troubleshooting step, which is to test your web browser. If you cannot launch the web browser on your handset, then this is an issue, because the MMS service requires that you have both SMS, and web browser service to send a MMS message. If you can access the internet and you have the ability to send/receive text/sms, then you need to call your service provider as the issue may be with their service.

when a phone does not receive or send text messages, it is either caused by the message setting of the phone or the phone has contacted a VIRUS.

You will need to reset the phone or check the message settings if it as been tampered with.

try contacting your network sim operator and ask them to send you the text / mms numbers settings to your phone sounds like they are missing this can cause texts and mms to not be sent recieved

See there is a limit for the messaging just keep the words around 800 words and tehn send. if there is more then try sending it as two messages.

I solved the problem by just searching through my phone and all i had to do was change a few of the settings.

u sould contact your service provoder for that matter cause the dropp thing has nothing with text messages

those few contacts phones may not support over 160 characters in a single text message. hope this helps.
