Check your door lock. If door lock is okay, issue could be with control board.

SOURCE: Ge Adora Front Loader

If you have not already done so, clean the filter behind the panel in the front bottom of the washer. Remove the three philips head screws to get the panel off. Unscrew the plastic filter on the right hand side (use a shallow cake pan to catch any water). Remove the filter and clean out the pens, pencils, change, lint, etc... and put back in. All should work well after this. Thanks, Greg

SOURCE: moldy smell inside GE profle top loader washer

Check the pump and make sure that it is draining the water. There will always be a little water left over but you should never be able to hear it very easily. Once you check the pump and make sure it is operating properly check the water sensor to make sure that it is acuratly reading the water hieght. After that take one cup of Vinegar and run a hot load of water will kill the mold and clean your system out

SOURCE: my ge front loader washer will not drain

We had same problem. The pump was all clogged up with fabric debris, and a part of a metal bra liner. I removed the pump and cleaned it out. Now it seems to work fine, and went through a complete cycle. Ther pump was accessed from the front, and was not too hard to remove.

SOURCE: GE Profile front loader washing machine is leaking

Hello, this is usually the door seal, most machine incorporate a one piece combined door seal and outer drum seal(often just called a DOOR GASKET), the door seal are put in on the front panel first in the factory, then the drum assembly is put in and the seal pushed over the outer drum. This means a lot of stripping down has to be done just to replace the drum to the door seal.

Why is my GE front load washer breaking the circuit after it starts to fill with water?

You likely have a water leak spraying onto electrics, or the water inlet valve is shorting out.

GE washer inlet stripped, cross threaded

If the inlet on your GE washer has been stripped or cross-threaded, it may be necessary to replace the inlet to repair the problem.
To replace the inlet on your GE washer, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Disconnect the power to the washer by unplugging it from the wall outlet or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the washer.
  2. Shut off the water supply to the washer.
  3. Remove the hoses from the inlet by loosening the hose clamps or fittings that secure them to the inlet.
  4. Remove the screws or bolts that secure the inlet to the washer.
  5. Carefully lift the inlet out of the washer and set it aside.
  6. Install the new inlet by reversing the above steps. Make sure to connect the hoses to the correct fittings on the new inlet.
  7. Turn the water supply back on and check for any leaks.
  8. Restore power to the washer by plugging it back into the wall outlet or turning the circuit breaker back on.
  9. Test the washer to make sure it is filling properly with the new inlet.
Note: These instructions are general guidelines and may vary depending on the specific model of your GE washer. If you are unsure of how to replace the inlet on your washer, it is recommended that you contact a qualified appliance repair technician for assistance.

How do I access washer filter pump?

Generally for front loaders. Disconnect power from circuit breaker or unplug power cord before starting. The filter in the hotpoint aquarius 1200 is in the front bottom side, hidden by a trim panel. Remove the trim panel at the bottom of the front side (screws underneath?) and find access at the right hand side. Keep a large flat container ready to collect water from drain filter. If helped pl click so.
