Searched all knobs and buttons on top and bottom ovens, pulled out the unit at the top of the oven but it doesn't reveal any parts enclosed, and looked above where the fan/vent pipe runs from unit to the outside. Please help!!
If it is one that the fan starts when the shelf is pulled out and then stops when it is pushed back in, it may be the switch inside has broken and is now touching and causing a connection all the time. I would suggest a white goods mechanic to have a look at it as these things are hardwired in and you can't turn the power off without disabling the power on the board. They can be on different circuits to your lights and power points as well. So don't think if you have turned the power off to power points and lights that you have turned it off. BE CAREFUL!!!! Best Idea a professional.
Cheers
Is this a stand alone Microwave or an Oven top built in???
Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately I accidentally got to the microwave area unknowingly. It is a regular oven, a two piece (upper/lower ovens). I will seek a professional. Thanks.
tell me the make and model I will see if I can find it for you... I know when my repair man came he asked me for the manual for my oven so let me see if I can find the site and DL for you if you want. It is always good to have the manual anyway

Pam, google the make and model, then if you do find it go to the manufacture website and look under downloads and you should find a user manual for it. if you still cant find it I would be happy to help you post the make model and year of the oven.
