Split system starts with remote then system shuts down
When the freon is low the unit will start. When the compressor starts the low pressure side drops and shut it off as the high pressure rises. The low pressure switch shuts off to protect the compressor when there is not enough freon to carry the oil to lubricate it.

Check your remote control using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and "on", light should emit in your remote control transmitter (means good remote). Reset the unit by disconnecting the power supply for 10 sec. then "on" again and start the unit. If it wont work you need a qualified tech. to solve the problem.Some of your safety device might be defective.

Most probably if the remote works on the other units then the receiver on your problem unit is busted. You have to call an authorized service repair shopr to replace the board.
