I have a lsn305hv lg mini split. system ran fine for 6 mo. but now in the cool mode the unit wont shut off when room temp is met. i have it set on 76 and it is now 64 in the room. any ideas on whats wrong?

Generally, they are operated by a remote control (similar to a television), although some units do have a wired wall control option as well. The "head unit" mounted on the wall shows you the current room temperature. On your remote it shows what temperature you are trying/want to achieve.

thats why there is a reset button somewhere at the back of the remote and some times under the batters remover the remote control battery cover remove the batters find the rest it will looks like a tiny hole you will have to press it with a needle insert batters back enjoy cold air

CO code when shutting off with remote.
Try washing out outside coil and the check to see if inside coil is cold from top to bottom after the coil is dry outside and system run for a few mins. If it starts to freeze on just a small portion of inside coil then it may be low on refrigerant or bad tx valve. Do not run unit leak is repaired or metering valve replaced and unit is recharged. Compressor can be damaged with repeated starts. can't say what co means but it is a lock out for a reason .

Lg split system ch 05 error outside fan not working
Solution # 1, Check Condensor Fan Motor Capacitor 4uf or MFD
# 2, Check Motor Windings
# 3, Check Relay OR Defination Contactor
# 4, Check Connection Terminals

Hi i have kelvinator ksr25f split system the remote control is active but wont turn the unit on. the unit will run when i use the "forced operation" switch is there anything i can do to use the remote...
If fresh batteries dont help check if sensors are clear try removing power then restart unit

My split system LG LSK2463HL unit will not turn on.. the remote appears to be working, checked batteries etc.

there is a lot of reason why your LG split unit would not work by remote control.
first likely trouble is the remote itself. it could have drop from a height and broke the remote, or corrosion has set inside the remote if you left an old battery for a long time and it could have broken it.

secondly which is not more likely to happen is the remote receiver in your unit got broke that is why it can not communicate with your remote controller. it could happen if someone has serviced your evaporator and could have disconnected wires to the receiver , or wires were just left not connected.

you can test the remote if you have an identical unit which is working with a working remote. use the working remote to your unit then you can decide.
