Question about LG LSC121PMA Split System Air Conditioner

2 Answers

Remote Problems I have a LG split system air conditioner. I seem to be having issues with the remote control, it only seems to work intermittently. I have replaced the batteries a number of times and reset the control and rentered the time. Some days the remote just wont turn on and then I will come back a day or two and it will work fine.

Bonaire evaporative system. Fan speed will not adjust from the remote control. Was working fine till 2 days ago. Rest of controls work well. Had control box replaced 12-18 months ago. I have replaced batteries in remote control & have turned off breaker for more than 1 hour in an attempt to reset system.

I want to know that how mini split system automatic work? there is any thermostate or any other device?

Generally, they are operated by a remote control (similar to a television), although some units do have a wired wall control option as well. The indoor and outdoor unit has sensors that measure temperature (to control the operation of the mini-split) and (once the remote is set) the sensors control the system until it reaches the set point set on the remote.

There is transmission problem. either with remote or in PCB. Check with mobile camera by pressing any button in your remote. If ultra light flashed in your remote, it's o.k. Then you have to repair/replace PCB only.

Sound like a defective receiver board. Have this checked. Also check to see that your remote transmits. Hold the top part of the remote to your phone or digital camera lens. press a button and a light should appear on the screen of your phone or digital camera screen.

LG remote problem

Hi,

Most probably if the remote works on the other units then the receiver on your problem unit is busted. You have to call an authorized service repair shopr to replace the board.

I hope it helps.

Remote is working- but unit won't turn on

check your remote control using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes. Point the remote control transmitter to your camera and "on", light should emit in your remote control transmitter (means good remote). Check for reset or rst button in your remote control and push it to reset and test it in your unit. If wont work means either the receiver board or mean board is defective. You need a qualified tech. for this problem. For the mean time you can use manual button to operate the unit.

Kelvinator Split System Air Conditioner not turning on.

On some remotes there is a reset button which is pressed by using the nib of a pen. Or if this does not work you should look under the cover for a manual button, most units have one, and see if the aircon responds. I suspect your remote sensor is faulty, but try the previous suggestions first.

LG Split system (ceiling cassette)

Check your remote control by using your camera or cellphone camera as your eyes. Point the remote control to the camera and "on" the remote control. If no lights emits in the remote control means that your remote control is defective If lights emits then the remote control is ok. Try also to locate the reset or rst button on the remote control if available and reset it, then try. If it wont work may be the receiver board in the unit is defective.
