SOURCE: New Kodak EasyShare 5100 will not print!

You might have to reformat your hard drive as there is something in your OS that is hindering the printing.

SOURCE: We just got a new hard drive for our Kodak Kiosk.

you probably need to reload the software. The harddrive also needs to be formated in a very specific manner to work properly. Last the 5.2 is pretty old software. You probably should upgrade to version 2.0 (Kodak started renumbering about 18 months ago with 1.0 - go figure)

Installed a new hard drive

Well, since the new hard disk is not formatted, and there is nothing currently on it, you will not get a dos prompt or an operating system detected. What you need to do is insert your Windows XP disk, then reboot the machine. When you see the HP screen, tap the F12 key, which will take you to a boot menu. On the boot menu, choose your CD drive, then the computer will boot from the windows disk. From there, just format your disk, and install Windows.

Does anyone know about Kodak picture kiosks

The 1400 in not compatable with the kiosk software. You need a 805 printer, or a 8110, or even a model 8800. Only those will work. Check here:

Service pack3 crashed puter - after reinstall machine thinks extra hard drive is a disk drive.

You can get to the BIOS by hitting DEL or F2 at start up.

However, that does not have anything to do with a drive letter.

Drive letter designation is set in
START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL>ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS>COMPUTER MANAGEMENT>DISK MANAGEMENT.

Hope this helps.

Installatin problem xp

do you still have the other hard disk? Is xp installed there?
Then you can use the old disk as master and the new disk as slave disk.
Don't you have another hard drive? Then you just need your xp cd and put it in your cd drive. start computer and installation will automatically start. Make sure BIOS is set to boot from cd
