Why did my phone chargers stop working? - 2003 Honda Accord

If you are using that for an auxiliary power supply for a phone charger etc., the charger has a fuse in it. IF you are actually seeing the heating coil on lighter not glowing, They do wear out and have to be replaced.

The problem is not the outlet, it is either your phone or the phone charger.

Check fuses, coolant level, and sounds like you need a thermostat. If the thermostat sticks open it will not allow the motor to build heat.

Check your Owner's manual for fuse location. You may a fuse panel under the hood as well as under the dash - driver's or pass. side.

Take it out and screw it back in there are 2 pieces the one you plug into and the the screw on base that tightens it to hold it in place very simple to do

Look for another fuse box

check fuses the phone adapters will short out the lighter socketand the fuse could also control other circuits.

Have ALL the Speakers Stopped or just 1 or 2 ???????

Try plugging something else into the lighter socket,,,if it is getting power then you should suspect the phone charger, if it isnt,,then suspect the fuse,,,just open the fuse box cover and you will find the list and description of all the fuses and their locations there.

A short in the phone charger has blown a fuse in the fuse box. If it is not behind a removable panel on the driver's side of the dash, consult you owners manual for location.
