My acer aspire v5-122P-0889 askes for "current password" how do i get past this

Try removing the BIOS battery and leave it out for at least 3 days that should erase the settings.

remove the ram at the rear of the unit in the little compartment and look for two metal pieces ( bars maybe) take a paper clip and short out these then replace the ram close the door and reboot.
